Do I need to order ahead, or do you have cupcakes available in the store that I can come in and buy whenever I want?

Our cases are fully stocked each morning with freshly-baked cupcakes. We offer about 14-18 flavors each day. (See our daily flavor list to see what we’ve baked up for you today!) If you and your cupcake cravings are up for two dozen or less, come on in and take right from our freshly baked cupcakes today.

If you require more than 2 dozen, we ask that you call ahead (24 hours, preferred) and give us a heads up that you’ll be in. That helps ensure that everyone gets the cupcakes they’re after, and we’re not sold out by noon.

It’s my birthday!!!! What can I get?

Hey, happy birthday! Let us celebrate with you! Stop in for a free cupcake and a song on your birthday with your ID. And of course, you can always come in and buy your birthday cupcakes here and we’ll be happy to serve you.

Can you customize my cupcakes?

There are certain cupcakes that work well for limited amounts of customization, and certain ones that really look best just the way we prepare them each day. Cupcakes that can be customized include:

  • Party Animal
  • Pleasantville
  • Cloud 9

Customization is a cost of $.25 per standard sized cupcake, or $.15 per mini cupcake. Ask us about sprinkles or tinted buttercream to match your event’s theme, which can be done free of charge. We can also tie in your event’s colors by changing up the cupcake liner to match, based on availability of color, etc. Call one of our Cupcake Ninja’s and ask about what we’re able to do. Orders requiring any customization require at least 24 hours advance notice, and sometimes we just aren’t able to customize on busily-booked days. (We just want to give your cupcakes and everyone else’s as much care and attention as possible!)

Can I call ahead and order my cupcakes for pickup?

We do special orders for anything 1 dozen or more, with a minimum of 6 cupcakes of one flavor. For example, a 2 dozen order can have up to a max of 4 flavors. If you’re after onesies/twosies of many different flavors, come on into the store and we will be happy to serve you. If you see our daily flavor list and like what you see, feel free to call us in the morning and we will pull your favorite flavors and set them aside for you to pick up later on. If it is NOT on our daily flavor list and you still want it...we need you to order at least a dozen for us to be able to run a special flavor on an “off” day. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us to maximize our time and resources!

You guys are only open until 2 pm? Really? What gives?

Yep, really...we really do close at 2 pm, except for Fridays. Why? We are a small, family run business. I’ve got kids (and you can see them working in the store many Saturdays and all summer long). Our head baker has kids. Most of our employees are mommies too. You are sooo important to us...but family is a non-negotiable Numero Uno in our book. We’ve got to keep balance so that we can keep rockin’ out the cupcakes with love and dedication. If our hours don’t agree with your schedule, here are a couple of things to remember:

  • We are open Friday evenings till 6 pm, and the First Friday of the month till 8 pm
  • We are open Saturdays 8 am to 2 pm.
  • You can find our cupcakes most days at Cleaver's Market at 57th and Western in the Bridges Shopping Center.
  • We deliver within Sioux Falls for $7.50, and to Tea, Harrisburg, Brandon and Hartford for $12.00.

Can we bring our group in and tour Oh My Cupcakes!?

Of course! We frequently do tours for daycares, schools, and other organizations. Because of our limited space, groups of 20 people or less work best. (Six people at a minimum, please.) If your group is larger than 20, we’re happy to work in a rotation of several smaller groupings at a time. Our cost is $2.50 per person and includes:

  • A kitchen tour
  • Brief question and answer session with the bakers
  • A short cupcake decorating lesson
  • A cupcake which each person decorates in our store to either eat here or take home

Tours are scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 9 am and noon. To inquire about booking a tour of Oh My Cupcakes! please call us at 605.310.6742.

Can my group rent your facility after hours for our meeting/shower/party/event?

We rent our space (based on availability) for a facility charge of $40 plus any cupcakes and/or beverages you and your guests purchase. You are welcome to bring in other snacks for your shower/party upon discussion and approval by Oh My Cupcakes!

Do you do birthday parties for kids?

We do! Each birthday party consists of:

  • An opening activity to keep the little party guests busy until everyone arrives.
  • A kitchen tour of the Magical Cupcake Kitchen.
  • A short frosting and decorating lesson.
  • Two cupcakes to decorate. (One to eat during the party, and one for guests to take home and show off their handwork!)
  • Game, and adequate time for presents and fun during the party.

Cost is $13.50 per party guest. Depending on the number of guests (minimum 6, maximum of 15) an optimal party time is 1 to 1 1/2 hours in length. We handle everything for you...and we take care of the mess!

We use real, fresh ingredients in our kitchen such as eggs, milk, wheat, nuts and nut extracts. If you are sensitive or allergic to any of those we recommend you refrain from consuming our products.
